The best way to grow as wise and physically strong is to listen to God and the counsel of wise and wounded healers, said Most Rev. Lawrence Pius, Bishop of Dharmapuri, at the release of the book, Wise and Strong, written by Father John Alexander SDB. The Department of Life Education, Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, India, organized the event on October 29, 2021.

A collaborative research study conducted by Salesian College Siliguri and Salesian University Bolivia on education in pandemic times and published in the Scopus platform has featured on the World Health Organisation website. Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference proceedings.

To enhance the competence of teachers and produce positive progress on pupil`s empowerment and academic achievement, a six-day online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was organized, for the Instructors of Ten Don Bosco Technical Institutes from May 31, 2021, to June 5, 2021.

Dr George Panicker, an Alumnus of Don Bosco Kolkata and Capt. Shaji Sebastian are the two Judges from India presently judging the 6th Annual Raytheon Technologies Invention Convention US Nationals concluded on May 28, 2021. The Convention is powered by The Henry Ford Competition, with more than 400 finalists from across the United States showcasing their inventions.

Besides the unstinting service of India`s medical professionals and other frontline warriors in the fight against the deadly virus, the networks of friends, family and colleagues mobilized to share resources and combat misinformation have contributed to mitigating the situation. Social media and messaging apps also have facilitated this process, allowing relative strangers to lend a hand. Following this cue, the social media groups and networks established by the Alumni Association of Don Bosco School, Alaknanda, proved invaluable to its members and others.

A webinar on the `Implementation of National Education Policy 2020` organized by All India Don Bosco Education Society (AIDBES) and the Education and Cultural Dimension of the Salesian Province of New Delhi held on May 15, 2021, looked into the various possibilities of NEP.

Former Rector of Salesian College Sonada Father Pietro Piemonte died on 9th May and was buried in his native town Udine in northern Italy, on 12th May 2021. He was 92 years old and 73 years a Salesian.

Ricky Singh and four specially-abled companions at Don Bosco Technical Institute, Okhla - New Delhi, are first-year students of Graphic Designing who communicate in sign language. What is more, they are delighted that even teachers and batchmates communicate in sign language, making life easier and happier. Don Bosco Institute offers them opportunities to excel in life.

Saturday, 30th January, 2021 was a day of blessing in the history of Don Bosco School, Alaknanda - New Delhi as it marked the celebrations of the inauguration of the Ruby Jubilee Year of the foundation of the school. The distinguished guests Fr. Davis Maniparamban, Fr. Babu Varghese, Fr. Augustine Toppo, Fr. David Rayappan, Fr. Kuriakose, Mrs. Rashma Kumar and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar were given a grand welcome by the august gathering of teachers, parents and students.

Sonada, 30 January 2021: In a rare but challenging initiative, Salesian College Sonada floated a scheme to provide 100 girl students a laptop each at affordable price. In the first phase of distribution 55 laptops were given marking the feast of the patron of the college St John Bosco (Don Bosco), 30 January 2021. Remaining 45 laptops will be distributed soon in the second phase.
