The school education for the Salesians of Don Bosco is a mission of integral human development and evangelization. It is not viewed as a mere "information-gathering phase" but as a transformative journey of formation.

The global ministry of Salesian schools is guided by charismatic principles that place the young at the heart of their mission. Rooted in pastoral charity (“Da Mihi Animas”), Salesian education seeks to save souls and reveal God’s love, while the Preventive System of Reason, Religion, and Loving-kindness shapes educators to be companions and guides rather than mere disciplinarians. Faithful to their origins, Salesians show a preference for the poorest, focusing on abandoned and struggling youth, and implement the Educative Pastoral Plan (SEPP) to integrate academic, cultural, and spiritual goals into a unified response to modern challenges. Above all, they live the “Sacrament of Presence,” witnessing through their closeness to the young, walking with them, and sharing their dreams as a path to human and spiritual growth.

From dawn till dusk, Don Bosco School Oodlabari campus pulsed with colour, rhythm, and youthful energy as one of North Bengal’s largest inter‑school gatherings unfolded on 9 May 2026, bringing together talent, creativity, and spirited competition under one roof.

Jaigaon, Nashik, February 12, 2026: Jaigaon village in Sinnar Block marked a significant step forward in girls’ education and empowerment as 30 school-going girls received bicycles under the Sustainable Energy, Education and Development (SEED) initiative. Aptly titled “Empowering Girls through Mobility for Education,” the programme addressed a critical barrier faced by rural students—safe and reliable access to schools.

The Chennai Salesian Province celebrated Faith Fiesta (Maraikalvi Naal) 2025–26, a vibrant children’s convention organized by Deepagam, the Don Bosco Catechetical Center for Faith Formation and Value Education, at St. Bede’s Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School. The day-long programme brought together nearly 1,000 children from the four regions of the Province—Tirupattur, Pondicherry, Vellore, and Chennai—for prayer, learning, creativity, and fellowship.

After a nearly three-decade hiatus, the legendary rock music competition and concert of the Past Pupils of Don Bosco Irinjalakuda made a powerful comeback, as alumni returned “back to school” to relive memories and renew bonds. Branded as COUNTDOWN, the annual reunion of past pupils, the event was held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, transforming the school campus into a vibrant space of music, nostalgia, and social commitment.

The Pushpanjali Centre and Gujarat Region FMA Community hosted a lively Bal Mela on 30 November, bringing together about 800 enthusiastic children from Baroda, Dakor, Gandhinagar, and Pansora. With the theme “Small Steps to a Brighter Future,” the event blended learning, creativity, and fun in a bright, energetic setting.
