In a resounding display of athleticism, unity, and youthful spirit, the Don Bosco Sports Academy of Shillong Province (INS) emerged victorious at the maiden All India Don Bosco Inter-Province U-17 Basketball Tournament held in Hyderabad on 10–11 October 2025. The event, organized by the Salesian Provincial Conference of South Asia (SPCSA) and DBYA – Sports Academy, was hosted by the Hyderabad Province (INH) at Don Bosco School of Excellence, Motinagar, and Don Bosco High School, Erragadda.

Celebrating the legacy of a priest hailed as the Father of Goan Basketball, the All-Goa Fr. Benedict Furtado Basketball Tournament was held across two weekends — June 21–22 and June 27–29, 2025 — drawing close to 90 teams from across the state in five youth categories: Under-10, Under-12, Under-14, Under-16, and Under-17.
In a bold move to harness the power of sports for youth development, Don Bosco institutions, in partnership with Jugend Eine Welt (JEW), BREADS Bangalore, and the Oommen Chandy Foundation, officially launched the ‘Sports for Change’ initiative in Kerala.
