South Asia 06 Strengthen Accompaniment of Youth in the Digital Environment
Mapping News Coverage with Strategic Goals
Accompanying youth in the digital world is a vital aspect of the Salesian mission, as technology deeply shapes how young people learn, relate, and perceive life, while also posing risks of isolation and superficiality. GC29 urges systematic pastoral programs in digital spaces, calling for missionary communities of Salesians, laity, and youth to create meaningful educational and evangelizing content. Rooted in Don Bosco’s pedagogy of presence, this mission requires deep listening, authentic relationships, and well-prepared engagement that transforms digital culture into a space of communion and evangelization.
