Don Bosco Tech Society received the PRISM Award 2026 for its contribution to logistics skill development and youth employability in India's Western Region. The award was presented at Le Meridien, Ahmedabad, on July 24, during the PRISM Awards 2026 – Powering Recognition: India's Skill Movement, organised by the Logistics Sector Skill Council.

Nearly 100 residents of Mangalam's coastal villages, Alappuzha, Kerala, benefited from a free one-day medical camp organised by the Family Commission of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, PHC Mangalam, and IDS Alappuzha, bringing much-needed healthcare services closer to a community that often faces challenges in accessing medical care.

The World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) 2026 concluded with a glittering Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas, celebrating some of the world's finest young performers. Although India's lone finalist, Kitkupar Nongsiej from Meghalaya, did not secure the coveted title of Grand Champion Performer of the World, he emerged as one of India's brightest stars, returning home with an outstanding haul of three Gold Medals, two Bronze Medals, and the prestigious First Place Scholarship Award.

Don Bosco Tech Society marked World Youth Skills Day 2026 on July 15 across its 95 training centres in India, engaging thousands of trainees, trainers, alumni, employers, and industry partners in programmes that promote employability, digital literacy, and lifelong learning. A two‑day national conference titled “Towards 2047: Making India a Global Power Through Philosophical Engagement” sponsored by Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR) concluded at Salesian College of Higher Education, Dimapur, on Friday after a programme that brought together scholars from across India to discuss ethics, technology, indigenous knowledge and the role of philosophy in public life. The conference was organized by the Department of Philosophy, Salesian College of Higher Education, and IQAC, and featured prominent philosophers from Nagaland such as Dr. Venusa Tinyi from Hyderabad University and Dr. Karilemla of Savitribhai Phule Pune University.
