A three-day literary camp titled “Walk With Words” was organised at Don Bosco Boys Home, Mundakkal, under the leadership of the Fishermen Community Development Programme (FCDP), with the aim of enhancing students’ literary skills while nurturing their social and cultural awareness. Through interactive sessions, creative activities, discussions, and group activities, the camp sought to strengthen participants’ reading, writing, communication, and critical-thinking abilities while promoting social values, teamwork, and interpersonal relationships.

Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra (BGVK) successfully organised its Residential Spoken English Camp 2026 to improve students’ spoken English skills while nurturing their confidence, creativity, and overall personality development. The camp brought together 75 students from rural regions, including Dhadgaon, Talasari, Dudhni, Karjat, Beed, and villages around Ahilyanagar.

A Placement Coordinators–cum–HR Summit was successfully organized at Don Bosco Private ITI, Kokar, Ranchi, under the aegis of the Don Bosco Job Placement Network (JPN), bringing together key stakeholders committed to creating safe, secure, and decent job opportunities for young people. The summit featured 35 delegates from leading industries and educational institutions.

The Homelink Mumbai Hub conducted a two-day Training of Trainers (ToT) programme on “Transforming Care & Interventions through Documentation and Digital Intelligence” on January 8–9 at the Don Bosco Provincial House, Matunga. The programme brought together coordinators and staff members to strengthen ethical documentation practices, enhance digital capacity, and promote data-driven decision-making within child-centred services.

The South Asia Formation Commission of the Salesians of Don Bosco organized a five-day training programme on Affective Maturity and Psycho-Sexual Integration for members of the Salesian Family at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Pune. Held from November 5 to 9, the initiative sought to strengthen participants’ understanding of psycho-sexual integration while enhancing personal awareness, emotional maturity, and pastoral effectiveness in formative ministry.

The spirit of Don Bosco came alive at Boscowadi, Gorai, from October 19 to 26, as 56 young students completed the intensive "RISE UP! Express to Impress" Camp—a week-long programme designed to nurture holistic growth and essential life skills. The camp's success left participants recharged in mind, body, and spirit, true to the Salesian ideal of joyful learning and purposeful living.

A grassroots movement to foster women’s skills, sustainability, and self-reliance is taking root in Trivandrum. Fifty women have embarked on a transformative journey toward economic independence and sustainable nutrition through “Nanma,” a mushroom cultivation training programme launched by Don Bosco Veedu and the Salesian Cooperators, with support from Ashirvadam, Bangalore.

Don Bosco Industrial Training Institute, Kurla, held its Convocation Ceremony for the academic year 2024–25 on September 26 at the Fr. Santino Mondini Hall, marking a milestone for 171 trainees from the 2023–25 and 2024–25 batches. The event brought together dignitaries, faculty, parents, and students in a celebration of achievement and values.

The Don Bosco Youth Animation-South Asia (DBYA-SA) conducted a dynamic two-day Training of Trainers (TOT) programme on Youth Ministry at the Don Bosco Provincial House, Shillong, on September 19–20. The initiative brought together 28 young Salesians from the provinces of Delhi, Kolkata, Dimapur, Guwahati, and Shillong, marking a significant step in strengthening youth outreach across South Asia.

A three-month tailoring course under the banner TIGRESS has successfully equipped seven women with essential dressmaking skills while fostering a strong sense of solidarity and self-worth. The initiative, jointly organized by the Salesian Co-operators and Don Bosco Veedu, concluded with a certificate ceremony that celebrated both skill development and community empowerment.

From October 18 to 20, the Salesian Province of Hyderabad, in collaboration with Bosco Soft Technologies Pvt. Ltd., hosted a three-day workshop on "AI in Apostolic Ministry: Enhancing Leadership, Management, and Administration" at the Don Bosco Provincial House Hyderabad. This unique event drew over 40 participants, including Salesian fathers, clerics, religious fathers and sisters, diocesan priests, and laypeople.

2nd March 2024 will be a day to remember for the members of BOSCOM (Salesian Media Network of South Asia) as it marked the launching of its new initiative the "Luminata" project. There were over 60 participants present online from across South Asia consisting of Salesian Social Communication delegates of provinces, members of the Provincial Social Communication Commission, FMA and other Salesian family of Media Animators and various Lay members involved in the media ministry.
