A two-day Project Executives Training Programme was held on 5 and 6 February 2026 at Don Bosco Provincial House, Odxel, Goa, bringing together project executives to reflect, learn, and strengthen professional capacities in support of Mission Poverty Eradication.

The programme began with an inaugural gathering organized by the Province of Panjim. Fr. Joel, Rector of Don Bosco Provincial House, warmly welcomed the participants. A prayer song and a graceful prayer dance by the students of Don Bosco Primary School, Odxel, set a reflective tone for the days ahead, invoking God’s blessings for the programme. The lighting of the lamp by Fr Tony Pellissery, Director, Mission Poverty Eradication, Fr Royston D’Souza, Executive Director, Konkan Development Society,  Fr Joel D’Souza, Rector, Don Bosco Provincial House Panjim, Ms Neha Joseph, Project Executive, and Mr Dilbar Birla, Project Executive symbolized hope, clarity, and renewed commitment to the mission.

Across the two days, participants engaged in sessions that combined reflection, skill-building, and hands-on learning. The focus was on deepening understanding of the mission’s objectives, improving the quality of reporting and documentation, and strengthening communication through effective use of multimedia tools. Discussions encouraged participants to remain rooted in the mission’s core values while responding creatively and responsibly to present-day challenges.

A key highlight of the training was its practical approach. Project executives actively participated in exercises related to documentation, report design, video creation, and photo selection. Peer feedback and guided discussions helped sharpen their ability to present project work clearly, ethically, and professionally. The sessions also offered insights into aligning province-level activities with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reinforcing the mission’s broader relevance.

The programme concluded with a feedback session, where participants shared reflections on their learning and the relevance of the training to their ongoing responsibilities. The atmosphere of collaboration and shared purpose marked the programme as a meaningful step toward strengthening the mission's collective impact.

The training was conducted under the leadership of Fr Tony Pellissery, Director, Mission Poverty Eradication, supported by Ms Neha Joseph, Project Executive, MPE. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to the Province of Panjim, the Province Project Directors, and the entire team at Provincial House, Panjim, for their warm hospitality and seamless arrangements that made the programme a success.
