A professional youth group of company secretaries and chartered accountants in Siliguri honoured Salesian Priest and college lecturer Fr. C.M. Paul of Salesian College Siliguri on Teacher’s Day in recognition of his selfless contribution as an educator. The Inspector General of Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) North Bengal, Shri Sudhir Kumar, handed over the recognition at an event held in Hotel Surya Grand Siliguri on September 8.
The Don Bosco Institute in Guwahati played host to the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) – Leaders and Animators Formation Programme (LAF) 2024 from September 5 to 7, drawing youth from the three Northeast Provinces of Guwahati, Dimapur and Shillong. Riding on the wave of the 29th edition of North Bengal’s acclaimed Bosco Fest in Siliguri Darjeeling district, the first-ever Bosco Fizza 2024 in the Dooars region of North Bengal brought together ten schools for a day of talent explosion.
