Ranchi Job Drive Connects ITI Candidates with Opportunities

Don Bosco Career Guidance, Training and Job Placement Services, Ranchi, organized an exclusive job drive for ITI candidates in collaboration with Royal Enfield, Jharkhand, at Don Bosco Private ITI, Kokar, Ranchi. The initiative was facilitated through the Don Bosco Job Placement Network (JPN) to connect technically trained young people with suitable employment opportunities.

A total of 40 candidates registered for the opportunity through the Don Bosco Job Placement Network website. The JPN coordinator counselled the candidates, understood their skills, qualifications, interests, and employment needs, and explained the available vacancies and recruitment process.

Following the counselling and initial screening, 22 candidates participated in the recruitment drive. The recruitment process was conducted by Mr. Subrojit Mukherjee, HR Manager, Royal Enfield, who assessed the candidates for the available positions. Sixteen candidates were selected for employment.

The selected candidates will receive employment-related social security benefits, including Employee State Insurance (ESI) and Provident Fund (PF), as applicable under the terms of their employment. The selected candidates and the recruiter expressed their appreciation to the Don Bosco Job Placement Network for its counselling, coordination, and placement support. The remaining candidates will continue to receive follow-up support from JPN and will be referred to other suitable employment opportunities based on their qualifications, skills, and interests, while the placed candidates will remain under the JPN follow-up process to support their transition into employment and monitor their retention and workplace experience.

The job drive was led by Br. Tom SDB, Principal, Don Bosco Private ITI, Ranchi, and coordinated by Mr. Marcus Minj, Senior Placement Coordinator, Don Bosco Job Placement Network. The initiative reflects Don Bosco's continued commitment to supporting young people in their transition from technical education to decent, safe, and secure employment through career guidance, counselling, placement assistance, and post-placement follow-up.
