Sri Lanka Youth Launches AI-Powered Wellness App
In a remarkable demonstration of how education and collaboration can transform lives, a group of young innovators from Don Bosco Infotech, Kilinochchi, SriLanka, have developed Revyv, an AI-powered wellness application aimed at supporting students worldwide.
The initiative, launched on 24 August, is the fruit of a strong partnership between Don Bosco Infotech and the Salesian Province of Chennai, with seed funding from the Fr. Guezou Foundation and Salesian Mission Spain.
Through advanced IT training and mentorship, the students not only mastered cutting-edge technologies but also applied their skills to create a tool addressing real-world needs. Reflecting the Salesian mission of uplifting marginalized youth, Revyv has been offered free of cost to schools across the Chennai province, a gesture that embodies the spirit of service and giving back.
The launch ceremony was presided over by Fr. Joseph Jeyaraj SDB, Professor at the Salesian Pontifical University, Rome, alongside key Salesian leaders including Fr. Ravi Aruldass, Director of Niraivagam; Fr. Ashok Amaladoss SDB, Director of Don Bosco Infotech, Sri Lanka; and Fr. Maria Arokiaraj, Principal of Don Bosco College, Kilpauk.
Niraivagam, a leading institution for holistic well-being, played a pivotal role in shaping the app’s content and design, ensuring its impact on student wellness. Moving forward, Niraivagam will also oversee the program’s implementation across India.
