Don Bosco Tech Honoured as Best Partner of Marriot+Accenture
The "Celebrating Our People, Marriott + Accenture" event was held on 21 May at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore. Distinguished guests from Accenture and Marriott, representing both India and the United States, attended the event. As part of the CSR segment, the Don Bosco Tech Society was the only organization invited to participate and present. Ms. Priya Kumari from Accenture delivered a presentation emphasizing the growing collaboration between Accenture + Marriott and the Don Bosco Tech Society.
The gathering at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, is a second of its kind after the inauguration of the Hospitality Training Programme on 3 February 2025 at Don Bosco Skill Mission (DBSM), Bangalore, where the same three giants met together to kick start. Pritto Thomas, Assistant Manager for State Operations, DB Tech, Karnataka, and Puja Karje, F&B Trainer at DBSM, Bangalore, presented an overview of the Accenture-Marriott partnership with the organization. It was also a great privilege for the Don Bosco team to interact with members of both Accenture and Marriott, especially Mr. Siva Viswanathan – Senior Managing Director, Accenture India.
Bro Barnabas Khriam, Assistant Director, DBSM; Mr. Darshan K.B., Senior Executive for MIS and Placement, DB Tech, Karnataka; and four trainees from the current Guest Service Associate batch at DBSM were represented at the event. Their presence brought a personal and heartfelt perspective to the session as they shared real-life stories and the training programme's impact on their lives. The event continued with a lively group activity to energize participants and promote meaningful interaction, which further helped foster collaboration and mutual respect among all attendees.
