Capability Enhancement of Unskilled Youth

Don Bosco Job Placement Network India, with the Macquarie Group Foundation, provided employability skill training for unskilled youth for a better livelihood. Six hundred and fifty-six youth benefited from six online training programmes. 

The online training sessions comprised interview skills, confidence building, personality development, and group discussions. These sessions increased the confidence level of the job seekers, resulting in 80% placement of the trained youth in various sectors.

The Macquarie Group Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Macquarie Group. It supports hundreds of community organisations globally each year through financial support, volunteering and skills sharing, predominantly in the locations where Macquarie operates. They focus on capacity building within the community sector, increasing social and economic mobility.

Don Bosco Job Placement Network India extended its sincere thanks to the Macquarie Team for their meticulous planning and impactful delivery of the foresaid sessions that influenced and increased the social and economic mobility of the youth.
