Salesians in Sri Lanka Engage in Workshop on Career Guidance and Job Placement

- Fr. Gabriel Karunaraj(IN JPN DIR)

A workshop was organized for the delegates of the Youth Ministry in the Vice Province of Sri Lanka, focusing on creating a culture of vocation and introducing Career Guidance and Job Placement Services. Father Gabriel Karunaraj, Director of Don Bosco Job Placement Network, animated the workshop. The workshop gave a comprehensive briefing on career counselling, employability skill training, and job placement assistance.

Father Roshan Miranda SDB, the Provincial of the vice province, expressed his belief that the programme will have a transformative impact on young people in Sri Lanka, enabling them to achieve their goals and aspirations, bridge the gap between education and employment, and offering guidance and resources to uplift the country's youth.

Coordinated by Father Paul Sajeewaka, the Vice Provincial, and Father Sagayaraj, the Economer of the province, the workshop showcased the Salesians' dedication to youth development and their understanding of the crucial role that education and training play in transforming lives.

The Salesians in Sri Lanka are poised to impact the youth by offering guidance, resources, and a pathway to a promising future.
