The annual Youth meet 2019 was held in the SCHE campus today 29th September 2019. Around 500 students in and around Dimapur, braving the inclement weather and heavy downpour took part in it. The theme for the youth meet this year has been, ``Youth for Holiness``.

Bosco Singout 2019 fascinates Dimapur

SCHE hosted Bosco Singout 2019 in its campus today 25th August 2019. Around 200 students in and around Dimapur turned up for the event. The Programme began with the solemn Eucharist at 09.00 a.m. presided over by Dr. Fr. Peter Salew Sdb , Director of DBYES, Province of Dimapur.

Salesian College of higher education hosted 2nd Adivasi Yuva sammilan in its campus today on 14th July 2019. The programme saw around 350 adivasi youths from the Singrijan, Checkiye A, Chekiye B, Lahorijan, Burma Camp , Borlengrijan, Lengrijan and Khatkhatti villages in Dimapur and the neigbouring dimapur, participating in a day long programme.

Sad Demise of Father Peringalathu Joseph SDB

We are saddened at the passing away of Father Peringalathu Joseph (PM), 63, this morning (29 Nov.2018) at 4.25 am in Catholic Medical Centre, Hospital, Koreingai, Imphal. The funeral will be on 1 December 2018 at 10.00 am at Salesian College, Dimapur.

A seminar on HIV/AIDS and Drug addiction was held at the Paul Bernick Hall of Salesian College of Higher Education, Dimapur, Ngaland, on 30th August 2018. The Chief resource person was Father Chacko, Director of Shalom Rehabilitation Centre, Chumukedia and Sister Rose CMC from the HIV Aids Rehabilitation centre, Chavara home, Purana Bazaar, Dimapur.

Father Jose Kuruvachira SDB installed as Provincial of the Salesian Province of Dimapur

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 5: On 5th August Salesian Father Kuruvachira Jose was installed as the 7th Provincial superior of the Salesian Province of Dimapur (comprising the states of Arunachal Pradesh, upper Assam, Manipur and Nagaland, headquarted at Dimapur) during the Eucharistic celebration presided over by Bishop George Palliparamabil of Miao Diocese in Arunachal Pradesh.

Father Jose Kuruvachira SDB appointed new Provincial of Salesian Province of Dimapur

The Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, with the consent of his council has appointed the new provincial for the Province of Dimapur, India: Father Jose Kuruvachira. Father Jose Kuruvachira succeeds Father Nestor Guria who is now laying down his office in August 2018, after six years of service.

His Holiness Pope Francis has appointed Father Dennis Panipitchai (60), SDB, as Auxiliary Bishop of Miao. This ecclesiastical provision was made public in Rome on Friday, 8th June, 2018, at noon local time, corresponding to 15:30 hours, Indian Standard Time.

Sad Demise of Father Mathew Narimattam SDB

JYOTI: A Sadri Film Released
