``Usually, we have a faculty development programme at the beginning of each semester, but we do not have anything for our support staff who are the face of the institution to the public,`` said Rector Father Tomy Augustine, the coordinator of the event. Resource persons talked about the duties of the office and support staff. They reminded the participants how they are the heart, face and hands of the institution. Resource persons listed and emphasized the qualities such as integrity, responsibility, prominence, fulfilment of their jobs and highlighted the dignity of labour no matter what work they do. Resource persons for the program included Dr Terence Mukhia, Dean (Arts), Madam Shradha Pradhan Campus Coordinator Rajen Banerjee (former Bank Manager and motivational speaker) and J.B. Gurung, President of Tea Planters India. The programme had the presence of Principal Father George Thadathil.
