Don Bosco Tech Leadership Charts Strategic Roadmap at Quarterly Review
News reported by: MIS DB TECH
Don Bosco Tech's leadership team, departmental heads and regional managers convened at the Don Bosco Skill Mission in Bengaluru from 20 to 24 June for the organisation's First Quarter Review, a strategic exercise to assess progress, strengthen collaboration and align departmental goals with the Don Bosco Tech Global Vision.
The review was led by Don Bosco Tech leadership comprising Fr George Mathew, Br Jose Puthenpurackel, Fr Eugene Florence, Fr Britto Francis and Br Barnabas, along with heads of departments and managers from across the country.
The review evaluated first-quarter achievements, reviewed project implementation, identified operational challenges and set second-quarter priorities. Departmental presentations and regional assessments provided an overview of programme performance while supporting cross-functional dialogue and collective planning.
Key discussions covered Human Resources, Communications, Finance and Administration, Learning and Development, Partnerships, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Placements and Operations. Participants stressed breaking departmental silos, improving coordination and fostering a collaborative organisational culture.
A major focus of the review was the alignment of departmental Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with the six strategic priorities of the Don Bosco Tech Global Vision: Brand, Identity and Advocacy; Governance and Compliance; Partnerships and Ecosystem; Regional and Industry Alignment; Sustainability and Growth; and Innovation and Digital.
Departments reviewed measurable performance indicators, assigned weightages and aligned their objectives with these organisational priorities. The exercise sought to strengthen governance, enhance visibility, promote collaboration and encourage shared learning across the Don Bosco Tech network.
The review also introduced department-wise RASCI frameworks, clearly defining responsibilities for major organisational functions by identifying who is Responsible, Accountable, Supporting, Consulted and Informed. The framework is expected to improve ownership, streamline decision-making and strengthen coordination across departments.
Participants emphasised building specialised expertise within the skilling sector, encouraging internal knowledge-sharing and positioning Don Bosco Tech as a learning organisation. Discussions also highlighted broader platforms for dialogue on skill development, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate social investment initiatives.
The review will culminate in department-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), providing a structured framework for operational consistency and institutional efficiency.
