Don Bosco Tech Society received the PRISM Award 2026 for its contribution to logistics skill development and youth employability in India's Western Region. The award was presented at Le Meridien, Ahmedabad, on July 24, during the PRISM Awards 2026 – Powering Recognition: India's Skill Movement, organised by the Logistics Sector Skill Council.

Fr George Mathew, Executive Director of Don Bosco Tech Society, received the award on behalf of the organisation. The event brought together government officials, industry leaders, training institutions and workforce-development organisations to discuss the future of logistics, including automation, artificial intelligence, intelligent supply chains and industry partnerships.

The award recognises Don Bosco Tech's two decades of empowering disadvantaged youth with industry-relevant skills, creating employment opportunities, and strengthening the logistics sector through a skilled and future-ready workforce. While Don Bosco Tech has trained nearly 500,000 youth across a wide range of trades, its dedicated logistics skilling programme has trained 59,278 young people to date, and 42,992 have secured employment, resulting in a 73 per cent placement rate.

The official citation commended Don Bosco Tech for developing an industry-ready workforce and creating sustainable career pathways for young people from rural, tribal, urban and other underserved communities. Its training programmes cover logistics, warehousing, e-commerce, transport, retail, finance and office support.

Courses offered by the organisation include Warehouse Packer, E-commerce Team Lead, Courier and Logistics, Agri-Warehouse Supervisor, Commercial and Light Motor Vehicle Driver, Office Assistant, Accounts Executive, Automotive and Retail roles, aligning participants with industry requirements.

The PRISM Awards also recognised several other institutions for their contributions to logistics education and workforce readiness, including Adani Skill Development Centre, Tata Power Skill Development Institute, Tata Indian Institute of Skills, JBS Academy, IISFT Skills and Skillocareer.

Don Bosco Tech described the honour as a tribute to the collective efforts of its Salesian institutions, trainers, project teams, placement personnel, funding partners and employers. The recognition, it said, reinforces its mission of enabling disadvantaged young people to access meaningful employment and build lives of dignity, independence and hope.
