Don Bosco School Leaders’ Meet; Being a PEN Leader

The student leaders of Don Bosco Schools from Kerala participated in the one-day workshop held at Don Bosco Schools, Irinjalakuda, Kerala, on July 22. Dr P Sariin, IAAS (Rtd.) with Father Santhosh Manikombel SDB, Principal, DBHSS Irinjalakuda, Father Manu Peedikayil SDB, Principal of Don Bosco Central School, Irinjalakuda and other dignitaries lit the lamp and inaugurated the All Kerala Don Bosco School Leaders’ Meet. The student leaders, numbering 250, from seven Don Bosco Schools attended the workshop with enthusiasm and joy. 

In his presidential address Father Babu Manissery, Principal of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Mannuthy, Thrissur, and Coordinator for Don Bosco Schools, Province of Bangalore, thanked and congratulated the Salesians, the Staff of Don Bosco Schools, Irinjalakuda and especially Father Manu Peedikayil SDB, the chief organizer for fabulously hosting the programme. He invited the school leaders to gather information from all quarters for their formation and transformation into a leader. He asked them to be Progressive, Enterprising and Natural (PEN) in transforming themselves into leaders.  

Mr Anil Kurisingal and Team spearheaded the training sessions. The valedictory function was presided over by Father Babu Manissery SDB, Coordinator for Don Bosco Schools, Province of Bangalore, with Father Santhosh Manikombel, Father Manu Peedikayil, Father Joyson Mulavarickal, Father Josh Kanjooparambil, Father Varghese Edathichira, Father James Puthenparambil, Father Shino Kalapurackal and Sr. Omana V P on the dais. The student leaders and accompanying teachers left the campus with memories to cherish.
