Covid is a global problem. The response to it has to be global, too. The Salesians of Don Bosco is active in 134 countries. No other Congregation has this reach. A threat that is viral can only be met by a solidarity that is equally viral. To overcome the global viral pandemic, the world wide Don Bosco Family has launched a global campaign of solidarity with a special logo. Taking a holistic view of the enormous COVID-19 emergency, the Don Bosco Network launched the Don Bosco Solidarity - COVID-19 relief campaign to address different aspects of the situation: the prevention of infection to the extent possible; the sustenance of the most vulnerable people and promotion of productivity and livelihood in the changed, emerging scenarios. The essence of the campaign is Solidarityacross the world, societies and classes and its main instrument is viral giving, of ourselves and resources. Features of the logo: - Green colour signifying renewal and hope - World map and round shape signifying the global reach - Don Bosco, the guiding force - Salesian logo signifying the Salesian family at the heart of the work - Differently coloured hands signifying the global effort for the cause
