JUBILEE CELEBRATION OF CONFRERES IN MIZORAM REGION

Shillong/Seling:Jubilee celebration of 3 Salesians was held today at Don Bosco Seling. Father Anthony Valuran celebrated the Golden Jubilee of his Ordination while Father John Zosiama (the Vice Provincial of the Province) and Father John Changsan rejoiced at the Silver Jubilee of their Profession. The Holy Mass which commenced at 11:00 am was president over by Father Anthony Valuran and was graced by the presence of Salesians from Siaha, Lawngtlai and Thenzawl and Seling. Sisters from Zemabawk, Darlawn and Seling and a few collaborators too were present.
Father Anthony in his homily thanked, on behalf of the other Jubilarians, God and all those who have helped them to reach this stage. He highlighted how he has experienced moments of agony and ecstasy in his ministry in different parts of the country.
Another Jubilarian, Father John Zosiama spoke at the end of the Mass, thanking and appreciating all those responsible in making the celebration a success in spite of the current restrictions due to the pandemic.
