Don Bosco Vazhikaatti Facilitates Successful Campus Placement Drive at Kalayarkovil

Reinforcing its commitment to youth employability, Don Bosco Vazhikaatti, Trichy, organized a campus placement drive at St. Michael Polytechnic College, enabling final-year students to access direct recruitment opportunities from the automotive industry. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with ZF Rane Automotive India Pvt. Ltd., strengthening industry–institution linkages.

The programme aimed to provide structured recruitment exposure to final-year polytechnic students aspiring for careers in automotive manufacturing. The drive commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Mahindran, Principal of St. Michael Polytechnic College, who encouraged students to make the most of the opportunity. The placement process was efficiently coordinated by Mr. Munies Vithiyaranai, Placement Officer, ensuring smooth execution of the programme.
 
As part of the pre-placement preparation, Mr. Arumai from Don Bosco Vazhikaatti, Trichy, guided students through the company registration process and conducted a focused session on résumé preparation and employability readiness. The session helped students understand industry expectations and present themselves effectively during interviews.
 
The company presentation was delivered by Mr. Dinesh, HR representative of ZF Rane Automotive India Pvt. Ltd., who introduced the organization, outlined available job roles, and explained candidate expectations and career growth prospects. The placement drive saw the participation of 40 final-year students, of whom 35 were selected, resulting in an impressive selection rate of 87.5 per cent.
 
The successful conduct of the campus placement drive underscored Don Bosco Vazhikaatti’s sustained efforts to accompany young people towards meaningful and sustainable employment through strong and purposeful industry partnerships.
