The most awaited 8th International Short Film Festival of India (ISFFI) hit the screen on 28th March and run through 29th March unrolling a vibrant selection of 54 short films across the globe.
The inaugural function of the two-day festival commenced with a welcome note followed by lighting of Kuthuvilakku by the dignitaries at Abirami Mega Mall, Shree Annai (Chinese Theme Theatre), Purusaiwakkam, Chennai under the patronage of DBICA and Abirami Theatres Pvt Ltd.

It was an amazing display of talents in which 378 young people from 16 Don Bosco institutions in Chennai Province vied with each other to earn a place in the sun. The occasion was the Don Bosco Mega Talent Show, a first attempt by the Social Communication Department of the province to create a platform for talented youngsters, especially those from our rural settings, to showcase their skills and possibly capture the attention of mainstream media.
