Thanaloram Children’s Park Inaugurated at Sneha Bhavan

Thanaloram, a newly developed children’s park at Don Bosco Sneha Bhavan, was inaugurated by Justice Devan Ramachandran in a dignified ceremony held on the campus.
Presiding over the function, the Sneha Bhavan leadership highlighted the importance of creating child-friendly spaces that go beyond basic care. They expressed gratitude to Fr. Joyson, the centre's Director, whose vision and sustained efforts brought the idea of a dedicated play area to reality. Special appreciation was also extended to Prarthana Foundationfor its generous financial support in developing the park.
In his address, the Chief Guest underlined society’s collective responsibility towards children in vulnerable situations, noting that safe and nurturing environments play a crucial role in their emotional healing and overall development.
Meaning “a shade of care,” Thanaloram has been thoughtfully designed to provide children—many of whom come from difficult and disrupted backgrounds—a secure space to play, relax, and rediscover the joys of childhood. More than a recreational facility, the park stands as a symbol of hope and renewal, reaffirming Sneha Bhavan’s commitment to holistic child care, emotional well-being, and the dignity of every child entrusted to its care.
