Don Bosco Lonavla Aspirants Renew Faith, Deepen Vocation
The serene hillside town of Lonavla became the setting for a profound spiritual encounter as the aspirants of Don Bosco gathered for their Annual Spiritual Retreat from August 22 to 24. The three-day retreat, themed “Be an Agent of Change,” was animated by Fr. Allwyn Misquitta, a noted preacher known for his charismatic style.
The retreat opened with hymns of praise and worship, leading aspirants into sessions such as “Jesus the Universal Saviour” and quiet moments of rosary, adoration, and benediction.
Saturday formed the core of the programme with reflections on The Power of the Holy Spirit, devotion to Mary, and a powerful focus on Repentance and Reconciliation. The Sacrament of Confession and a Divine Healing service offered aspirants a deeply personal encounter with grace.
Sunday brought the retreat to its summit with Biblical Reflections on the Mountain, sessions on Personal Transformation, and thanksgiving prayers. The retreat closed with moments of fellowship, games, and shared joy, highlighting the Salesian spirit of community.
For the young aspirants, the retreat was more than formation—it was a renewal of faith, a deepening of vocation, and a call to align their lives with God’s plan.
