The Centre was formally inaugurated by Fr. Dr. Tomy Augustine, Rector of the College, in the presence of the Principal, faculty, students, and collaborators. Established in partnership with the Don Bosco Development Office, Calcutta (DB DOC), the facility is envisioned as a hub for innovation, fostering stronger alumni ties, enhancing faculty growth, and expanding programs that benefit both students and the wider community.

Led by Miss Sneha Maria of DB DOC, the Centre will work to build strategic partnerships, promote inclusive education, provide internship opportunities, and create platforms for student engagement. Its infrastructure includes a dedicated Director’s Office, a boardroom for collaborative planning, and four desktop workstations for student interns.

Founded in 1977, DB DOC serves as the social development arm of the Salesian Province of Kolkata, focusing on uplifting underprivileged communities through dignity, inclusivity, and sustainable development initiatives.
