``The entire Stations of Creation is a journey from the beginning of Creation (Genesis) till the end of our World (Revelation). It is a journey with the Word of God in the history of Salvation,`` said Father Choondal. The Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development has appreciated the Stations of Creation as part of popular devotion for the people of God and encouraged the use of the Way of Beauty in the parishes, schools and communities. ``Way of Beauty is an invitation to contemplate creation. It is an invitation to look at all creatures with God`s own eyes who saw everything as `good` at the dawn of creation. It is beholding creation in a spirit of kinship with all that exists and cry out in praise and gratitude, as the `poverello of Assisi` did. It sees the natural world with the eyes of wonder and joy as children do. It perceives the wounds of creation with pain and empathy as so many committed eco-apostles do across the world. I congratulate Father Gilbert Choondal for gifting the Church this beautiful resource which will help us to look at creation with new eyes during this Season of Creation and beyond,`` said Father Joshtrom SDB, the Coordinator for Laudato Si` Year from the Dicastery. A video version of the Way of Beauty is available on YouTube Channel: Video of The Way of Beauty Salesian Co-operators Walks The Way of Beauty Salesian Co-operators walked the Way of Beauty in the Nitika Campus, Kolkata, with placards for each Station, carrying symbols of life and death along with reflections at each Station. They walked the Way of Beauty on October 2, 2021, to mark the conclusion of the Season of Creation which began on September 1. Appropriate pictorial representation of each Station, along with a crucifix, soil and a plant on either side of the Cross (symbols of life and death in creation), and for each Station, an introduction, Word of God, reflection, a short text from Laudato Si`, gave the participants a sense of being immersed in the mystery of creation. The sequences from the Canticle of Creation and the prayer of St. Francis of Assisi accompanied every Station.
