Clerics Bernard Mardi, Biswajit Mondal, Topon Hasda, Mohan Murmu and Tushar Gomes committed themselves forever through the religious profession. Father Joseph addressing the clerics highlighted the call of Abraham and how the Father of Faith can teach each one to live the three evangelical counsels of Salesian life: Poverty, Chastity and Obedience. The clerics expressed their sentiments through a hymn in the Bengali language, O mine, beloved mine, be my guide on my journey. Cardinal Patrick D` Rosario thanked the Salesians for the missionary work in Bangladesh among the tribal. He also expressed his gratitude to the family members of the clerics and emphasized the role of family and married life as the source of vocation to the catholic church. The province of Kolkata honoured Father Amit Xess, Father Hansel Dutta and Father Nijo Emmatty, the recently ordained priests. During the occasion, Cardinal Patrick released a book, Father Francis Convertini: Jibon O Dorson, on Venerable Francis Convertini, written by Arup Kumar Haldar. The book has a short biography and songs in honour of Father Convertini. Dilip Rosario, Music Director and Composer, has scored the music.
