BOSCO team conducted induction training for the newly admitted students of Don Bosco Yuva Kendra (DBYK), Najafgarh and an orientation programme for the teachers of that Institute on 10th and 11th of August 2009.
BOSCO team conducted induction training for the newly admitted students of Don Bosco Yuva Kendra (DBYK), Najafgarh and an orientation programme for the teachers of that Institute on 10th and 11th of August 2009. There were around 170 students and 14 teachers who had participated for the same. The Resource Team included Linto, Anwer, George, Asif and Shibi. As the students were extremely fresh, the trainers dealt on very basic topics like Introduction to Don Bosco, First Impression, Positive Self-Esteem and Positive Attitude, Peer-Pressure and Goal Setting. This was done with an intention to help the students break their respective shells and come out with a reasonable level of confidence. On the other hand, Teachers were given insightful inputs on Team Building, Different Roles of an Effective Trainer, how to deal with different type of students and the skills to improve the teaching styles and methods to with the motive to enhance their motivation level as well as productivity level. The trainers experienced a high level of support and co-operation from the management team of DBYK, Najafgarh.
