Seven Schools Take Part in Environmental Quiz at Galenja-Bordumsa

Seven schools participated in an Environmental Inter-School Quiz Competition organised by Don Bosco Galenja in collaboration with the CRI-Bordumsa Zone at Don Bosco School, Galenja-Bordumsa, on August 8.

The competition aimed to promote environmental awareness among students and encourage responsible stewardship of nature. Questions covered environmental protection, conservation, climate change, biodiversity and the sustainable use of natural resources.

Fr Abin Jose, SDB, served as quiz master. The competition also provided students an opportunity to interact with peers from other schools and learn through shared experiences.

San Bonaventure School, Dumba, won the Junior Category, with Don Bosco School, Galenja-Bordumsa, and St Paul’s School, Dhonekhona, securing the first- and second-runner-up positions, respectively.

In the Senior Category, St Paul’s School, Dhonekhona, emerged champion, followed by St Bonaventure School, Dumba, and Mount Karmel School, Kumari, as first and second runners-up.

The winning teams were presented with trophies, certificates and cash awards.
