The competition brought together some of the finest teams from across the district, but Don Bosco’s spirited performance carried them all the way to the championship title.

In the quarterfinals, the Boscoites overcame St. Xavier’s High School, Naigaon (West), with a composed 2–0 win, setting the stage for their campaign. The semifinal clash against Vidya Vikasini School highlighted their teamwork and skill, with Don Bosco securing a convincing 10–4 victory.

The grand finale against the host team, St Augustine High School, Vasai (West), proved to be a nail-biter. Both sides displayed grit and determination in a closely fought contest. Ultimately, Don Bosco edged past their rivals 7–6, sealing the championship with sheer resilience and composure.

The celebrations reflected more than just a sporting achievement. Principal Fr. Anthony Fonseca lauded the team, noting, “This victory is not just a sporting achievement but also a reflection of the values of perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship that we try to instill in our students.”

Coach Abraham Thomas, who guided the team through the tournament, expressed his pride, saying, “The boys displayed exceptional dedication and teamwork throughout the tournament.”
