Brother James Marcus Elected Delegate of Salesian Brothers of South Asia
At the recently held 9th Salesian Brothers’ Congress of Salesian Brothers of South Asia, Brother James Marcus of the Salesian Province of Panjim Konkan was elected as the Delegate for Salesian Brothers of South Asia on January 2, 2024, in Kolkata, India.
Brother James Marcus, Salesian of Panjim Konkan Province, Goa, India, is a native of Goa, born and brought up at Sulcorna in south Goa. He completed his initial schooling at Don Bosco Farm High School at Sulcorna, where he met his vocation promoter, Rector Father Michael Mascarenhas. Brother Marcus has held various positions at the province level as Head of Technical Institutions and Youth Centres. Currently, he is in charge of the Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim Goa and animates as the Province Vocation Promoter.
Congratulating him on his recent posting, Salesian Province of Panjim Konkan, Provincial, Father Clive Telles wished him all the best in his new endeavour and assured him of all the support as he coordinates and animates the Salesian Brothers of South Asia.
