The Province covering a territorial area of three Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and South Odisha, is divided into six clusters. The Regional would meet the Salesians in the designated places such as Hyderabad (Don Bosco Provincial House), Warangal (Don Bosco Philosophy House, Karuna Puram), Visakhapatnam (Don Bosco Philosophy House, Kondadaba), Vijayawada (Don Bosco School, Gunadala), Guntur (St Michael`s Boys Home), and Kurnool (Don Bosco Technical School, Kurnool). The first leg of the consultation began at Don Bosco Provincial House, Hyderabad, with 50 confreres. The Regional Councillor animated the session and invited each one to write the names of three confreres from their Province, or from any other Province who, before the Lord, they believe, have the qualities to exercise the ministry of the Provincial in the present circumstances of the Province of St Joseph, Hyderabad. In groups of five, the confreres discussed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis) of the Province, as seen today, and proposed a vision for the Province in the next six years. He specified the goal of achieving such a vision in the next six years. He then recommended suggesting qualities they would look for in the new Provincial, who will have the responsibility of animating and governing as they seek together to achieve such a vision with the help of the Holy Spirit working in each of them and respective communities. Father Biju thanked Father Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar for the animation and governance for the past six years. He implored God`s blessings on him for his availability, generosity, and dedication. Together with him, he thanked his close collaborators.
