Hyderabad Province organises ongoing formation programme for Leaders
The leaders of communities of Hyderabad Province with the members of the Provincial Council gathered together for an ongoing formation programme on November 14-15, 2022 at Don Bosco Provincial House, Hyderabad. This privileged moment of formation for leaders was part of the overall formation plan of the Province in creating opportunities for all the perpetually professed members of the Province for a deeper growth in Salesian charismatic identity, commitment to the Salesian charism among the young and personal fulfilment emanating from total self-giving and self-donation.
These moments of ongoing formation are being organized for different groups of confreres on the theme, a positive approach to life through the prism of optimism and joy, character strengths and virtues. Fr Jose Vettom, sdb, of Bangalore Province, will lead and accompany the members of the Province towards a permanent personal frame of mind as mentioned in the Constitutions. The following topics were dealt in a two-day Ongoing formation programme: Positive Feelings, Positive Traits, Positive Institutions, Character Strengths and Virtues that are the psychological ingredients which define the virtues. They are distinguishable routes to displaying one or another of the virtues.
