Hyderabad Perpetually Professed Salesians Kickstart 05-Day Google Meet

The Province of St Joseph Hyderabad [INH],began its annual perpetually professed confreres meet at the Provincial House for all the Rectors, in-charges and Parish Priests via Google Meet. The meetings are scheduled from 15th June 2020 to 19th June 2020 in various batches and groups.

Provincial Father Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, in his inaugural message addressed the confreres to plan, choose priorities for the new academic year especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.He said, ``I am happy to meet everyone in this remote manner but be assured I am close to you all. Although the COVID-19 pandemic devastated the entire globe, it has in some sense brought everyone together by staying at home, praying more fervently and building strong bonds of union and fraternity.`` During 05 hours of web interaction, the Rectors, In-charges and Parish Priests planned the Annual Calendar, drew up strategies and priorities as part of the Salesian Educative Pastoral Plan [SEPP]. The confreres thanked Father Provincial and the Secretary for facilitating this Google Meet for the confreres in the province, as a first of its kind, after the example of the national meetings held in various forums.
