His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, kindly welcomed Fr. Vincent Bosco, SDB, Professor of Dogmatic Theology at the Jerusalem Campus of the Salesian Pontifical University, who visited to convey heartfelt thanks for His Beatitude’s benevolent presence and blessing at the presentation of his book on 29 November 2025. He was accompanied by Ms. Maria Ruiz, a consecrated member of the Ordo Virginum and iconographer of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem. The encounter was also honoured by the presence of Archimandrite Christodoulos, archivist of the Patriarchal Archives in Jerusalem.

A twelve-year-old boy stepped out of rural Vaikom, Kerala, in 1965, carrying dreams larger than the dusty lanes he left behind. That boy was Joseph Palackal, whose quiet determination reflected a generation that believed education could change destiny. His journey began at Don Bosco, Pachalam, Vaduthala, Kochi, as part of the 1965 batch of 62 boys bound by a fellowship that would endure for life.

After a nearly three-decade hiatus, the legendary rock music competition and concert of the Past Pupils of Don Bosco Irinjalakuda made a powerful comeback, as alumni returned “back to school” to relive memories and renew bonds. Branded as COUNTDOWN, the annual reunion of past pupils, the event was held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, transforming the school campus into a vibrant space of music, nostalgia, and social commitment.
