The diary, published under the theme “Inspired by the Word and Transformed by the Grace,” features daily liturgical reflections intended to accompany the faithful throughout the year and encourage deeper engagement with the Word of God.

Fr Shiva Johannes Dasari SDB, Director of Don Bosco Publishing House, organised the release ceremony. Fr Thomas Santiago SDB, Provincial of Hyderabad, formally released the diary and presented copies to Vice Provincial Fr G. Kishore SDB and the contributing writers, Fr Noel, Fr Pradeep and Fr Carlo. The publishing house functions as a vital instrument for the integral, spiritual, and human formation of young people, continuing the literary and educational charism of Saint John Bosco.

Fr. Johannes continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to contemporary media and pastoral communication. As a deacon in 2021, he actively engaged in digital evangelical outreach, delivering daily gospel reflections for Aflame Ministries. This experience highlighted his ability to leverage media to articulate spiritual truths, a skill set that directly aligns with the modern publishing mandates of the Salesian mission.

The daily reflections in the diary are intended to support readers in prayer and reflection by connecting the liturgical readings with their faith journey. The Publishing House acknowledged the contribution of the Salesian leadership, writers and the Don Bosco Printing Press team in bringing out the 2027 edition.
