The students deliberated on 4 topics of National interest namely: Bill to Implement a Uniform Civil Code, Bill to Legalize Betting in Sports, Land Acquisition Bill and Bill to Legalize Euthanasia. The eminent panel of judges comprised of people from various walks of life. The judges were Dr. Anjali Verma, Ms. Indira Muthukrishnan, Adv. Mr. Mohammed Shine, Mr. Sunil Dharmarajan, Dr. Mini Moni and Ms. Achita Jacob. The distinguished Guests of Honour were Mr. Ajit Kumar, General Manager Life Insurance Corporation and Mr. Sumeet Naik, News Editor Free Press Journal of India. Mr. Pranav Gaidhani as the Speaker conducted the proceedings of Samvaad 2015. The host team DBIT bagged the trophy for the best team while Mr. Shrikunj from DJ Sanghvi College of Engineering was adjudged the best speaker. Mr. Rajeev Nazareeth (DBIT) and Mr. Rohan (KJ Somaiyya College of Engineering) were placed 2nd and 3rd respectively. Samvaad 2015 was made possible because of the support and encouragement of the Principal and Management of DBIT and the dedicated and committed efforts of more than 60 student volunteers.
