Chairman, Archbishop Thomas Macwan, Archbishop of Gandhinagar and other commission bishops were present along with 130 catechetical directors from the dioceses of India. The Commission for Catechetics of the CCBI serves as the permanent executive structure for catechetical animation at the national level. It has a clearly structured programme of catechetical renewal approved by the CCBI. The Assembly discussed the various challenges of youth catechesis that are facing Indian church today. ``The active youth in our parishes are hardly one percent of entire parish youth. Are we satisfied with one good sheep in our fold? Where are the 99? Have we taken any effort to bring them back to the fold?`` said Father Gilbert.　 The assembly had fruitful discussions on various challenges of youth catechesis　 to provide adequate orientation to youth catechesis in the Church.
