North Bengal Holds Salesian Family Day
Salesian Family members of the North Bengal zone held their annual Salesian Family Day on 23rd January at Salesian College Autonomous Siliguri. Some 70 members of the North Bengal zone, consisting of Salesian Fathers, Brothers (37), Salesian Sisters (8), Cooperators (14), Sisters of Mary Immaculate (4), and Missionary Sisters of Mary Help of Christians (7) from North Bengal, Bihar, Sikkim, and Nepal, participated in the event.
The Vice Provincial of Kolkata Province, Father Sunil Kerketta, presented the Strenna 2025: ANCHORED IN HOPE, PILGRIMS WITH YOUNG PEOPLE, given by the Rector Major of the Salesians. He also presented the theme of Jubilee 2025: Pilgrims of Hope. After a group sharing session among a mixed group of participants, members celebrated the Holy Eucharist in the college chapel, presided over by Principal Fr Babu Joseph.
