Sad Demise of Father Martin Sowriappan SDB

The Salesian Province of Chennai regrets to announce that Father Martin Sowriappan SDB (37) passed away this morning, 22 October 2019.
The Funeral will be at 4 p.m. today at Our Lady of Refuge, Broadway, followed the burial at St Roque`s Cemetery, Old Washermanpet, Chennai. We commend Father Martin to the Lord. We pray for the Provincial and Confreres of the Chennai Province at the demise of a young Salesian priest.

The event brought together Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and government officials to discuss strategies for aligning CSO initiatives with Mizoram's sustainable development priorities.
