Bosco Fizza: Youth talent show brings together 1,200 students

Riding on the wave of the 29th edition of North Bengal’s acclaimed Bosco Fest in Siliguri Darjeeling district, the first-ever Bosco Fizza 2024 in the Dooars region of North Bengal  brought together ten schools for a day of talent explosion. The day-long program held on 24th August brought together some 1,200 students for a vibrant celebration of culture, unity, and talent, showcasing 15 cultural events.

The rector and Principal of Don Bosco School Oodlabari in Jalpaiguri district said, “Introducing the inaugural edition of Bosco Fizza 2024 has proved to be a platform for students from Siliguri and Dooars to come together, showcase their talents, and celebrate diversity.”

The chief guest, the Principal of Don Bosco School Siliguri Fr. V.C. Jose, gave away the prizes to the winners, Don Bosco Oodlabari, followed by St Joseph Bhaktinagar and Don Bosco Siliguri.

The ten participating Schools were Mt. Carmel Jalpaiguri, Auxilium Siliguri, Don Bosco Siliguri, Trinity H.S. Siliguri, Sarawan Memorial Jalpaiguri, Delhi Public Jalpaiguri, Holy View Jalpaiguri, Royal Academy Siliguri, St Joseph Bhaktinagar, and Don Bosco Oodlabari.

Don Bosco School, Oodlabari, established in 2007, is an English Medium Catholic School for boys and girls run by the Salesians of Don Bosco of Kolkata Province.
