On Thursday, 8th October 2020, the fourth volume of Don Bosco Theological Series titled Communicating the Good News: A Renewed Focus on Evangelization, edited by Fr. Cassius Correya SDB,was launched at Don Bosco Theological Centre. The Chief Guest of the event was Rev. Fr. Biju MichaelSDB, the General Councillor for South Asia Region. Rev. Fr. K.M. JoseSDB, the Provincial of Chennai, and Rev. Fr. Freddie Pereira SDB, the Provincial Secretary of Bangalore, were also present for the occasion. Rev. Fr. Bellarmine Fernando SDB, the Rector of the Theologate, welcomed the guests and all present. In his welcome address, Fr. Bellarmine appreciated Rev. Fr. Biju Michael for the enthusiastic way he has begun his ministry as the Regional Superior of South Asia.
After the words of welcome, Fr. Cassius introduced the book with a short video. He then invited Rev. Fr. Biju Michael to release the book and to present the first copy to Rev. Fr. K.M. Jose and another copy to Rev. Fr. Freddie Pereira. Fr. Biju Michael was then invited by Fr. Victor Antonyraj SDB to release this year`s first issue of Parisal, a trimonthly magazine, edited by Bro. Mahesh. At the close of the event, Fr. Biju Michael addressed the gathering. The theme of his talk was ``What is in Your Mind?`` Citing references from the Bible, Canon law, Church and Salesian documents, he highlighted the importance of intellection formation for candidates to priesthood. He appealed to the students to fill their mind with the knowledge of Christ so as to be attracted to Him pointing to the fact that one is naturally attracted to what one holds in his/her mind. He, finally, asserted that our prime duty is to bring Christ to the young and the young to Christ.
