Father Paul O Lyngkot, Provincial of the Salesian Province of Shillong, Father John Zosiama, Vice Provincial and nearly 20 Salesian priests joined the Holy Mass celebration. The ceremony was held in the presence of the family members and hundreds of young boys of the apostolic school with the brothers, sisters, friends and well-wishers.

The vibrant music and hymns sung by the apostolic boys added life to the liturgical celebration. Father Biju, during his homily, asked the perpetually professed clerics to thank God for the gift of vocation given to them. He asked them to make their life theocentric. Concluding his homily, Father Biju thanked the parents of the clerics for offering their sons to God and to the congregation.

Father Biju and the concelebrants welcomed the brothers with their fraternal embrace as a sign of their dedication to the Church and the congregation as perpetually professed members. The crowd applauded to congratulate the brothers for this courageous step.
