It was a day of pleasant surprise for the Don Bosco Community at Bidar in North Karnataka. The information of the visit of Bro. Jean Paul Muller, the Economer General, was received with gladness and great joy. The other Salesian communities of North Karnataka region also ensured their presence with the visitor and the local community on November 05, 2011.

The Casket of Don Bosco was taken to Don Bosco Palluruthy, St. Sebastian`s Church Thoppumpady and Santa Cruz Basilica on 5th October.

The Relic of Don Bosco was placed for veneration at two popular shrines in Kochi namely, St. Antony`s Church at Kaloor and the National Shrine Basilica at Vallarpadam. The large number of faithful who flocked to these centres had the opportunity to venerate the saint and to learn more of him.

The St. Michael\\`s Parish Church at Kakkanad received the Relic Casket of Don Bosco with love and devotion. A well arranged liturgy and services attended by many thousands was the hallmark.

The Don Bosco Community at Vaduthala organised the visit of Don Bosco with great love and planning. An estimated number nearing one hundred thousand seems to have visited the campus when Don Bosco was present. This suprising number was very well managed and all facilities provided with care.

The large crowds that filled the church and the campus with great faith and devotion was unexpected. The church named after St. John Bosco did well to present the patron saint to the people in a beautifully organised liturgy and event during the day.

The town and the diocese of Irinjalakuda welcomed the Relics of St. John Bosco with great eagerness and in large numbers. The presence of many people, clergy and religious was inspiring.

The presence of the Relic of St. John Bosco in Thrissur was greatly celebrated by the people and the two Don Bosco institutions. The large crowds at various centres and the well organised prayerful ambience was helpful to the faithful in having a spiritual experience.
