SALESIANS OF DON BOSCO in South Asia
The Salesian Provincials Conference of South Asia (SPCSA) is the regional structure for animation, “refection, sharing and coordination” among the Salesian Provinces of South Asia, as envisaged by the Constitutions of the Society of Saint Francis de Sales C.155 and R.139-142. SPCSA is a point of reference for South Asian Inter-Provincial coordination of Salesians, Salesian Family, Salesian Presences - Works and Activities, Commissions and Networks at the service of SPCSA.
The process of refection, sharing and coordination in SPCSA has brought about a phenomenal growth in this region. The strategic planning of SPCSA and its regional networks in this process led Salesians to take stock of where they are and where they want to move ahead. SPCSA is building a common home with a few flagship programmes such as Nation Building, Don Bosco Green Alliance, Youth at Risk, Migrant Ministry, DB Tech, School and Higher Education, BOSCONET, Salesian Youth Movement, etc. SPCSA with its Secretariat in New Delhi is coordinating the entire region and facilitating professional standards including policies such as Don Bosco Child Protection Policy, Don Bosco Education Policy, Salesian Youth Movement - a frame of reference for Youth Ministry, etc…
Thanks to the Regional, Provincials, Heads and Members of the regional networks who are directly involved in planning, animating and executing the decisions of SPCSA.
