The Telugu word Oota means Wellsprings or fountain.

Deeply rooted in the Gospel and the Salesian Charism, Oota seeks to bring to the attention of social activists as well as psychologists the psychological connection of injustice and rights violations.

• Trauma care
• Psycho-social counselling is situations young people in love, domestic violence, sexual abuse and family conflicts.
• Training / Guidance / Mentoring in: Counselling Skills, Participatory Action Research, Social and Organisational transformation, Human Rights Education and Pedagogy, Gender training, Conflict Resolution.
• Contributing to Liberation Psychology, Pedagogy and Moral Psychology.
