The institute was started in 1965 to provide skill training to the school dropouts as well as those youth who could not afford to go for higher studies due to economic and social compulsion. The trainees come from in and around Kolkata, neighboring districts and States. Since we have 8 Corporate collaboration placement is not a problem for us as of now. 90% of our trainees find placement in industry or in the service sectors. After the placement we notice a remarkable change in their socio-economic status. They in turn become the advertisement for our Institute.
