Don Bosco Technical Institute, Hassan is part of the world network of Don Bosco Institutions spread over 132 countries. It offers Formal as well as Non formal vocational courses for the youth of Karnataka without distinction of caste, creed or religion. It is affiliated to National Council for Vocational Education & Training (NCVET), and member of Don Bosco Tech India (DBTI), New Delhi. Under NCVET the institute offers Electronics Mechanic (EM), Electrician (EN), Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV). In the year 2010 the institute extended its services by initiating short term courses along with DBTI, empowering the rural youth of the locality.
