The Don Bosco Tech - KVTC (Karuna Vocational Training Center) Balasaur centre was established as part of the Don Bosco Tech Society’s nationwide mission to bridge the digital, social, and economic divide in India. Rooted in the Salesian philosophy of empowering marginalized and underprivileged youth, the centre serves as a beacon of opportunity for those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. By providing industry-aligned vocational training, the KVTC Balasaur centre focuses on transforming school dropouts and unemployed youth into skilled professionals. The Guest Service Associate – Food & Beverage Service domain is a cornerstone of this effort. This program is meticulously designed to equip trainees with essential skills in hospitality, including guest reception, order management, and professional service standards. Beyond technical proficiency, the curriculum integrates life skills, soft skills, and hands-on on-the-job training, ensuring that students are not only job-ready but also empowered with the confidence and dignity to build sustainable, long-term careers. Through this initiative, the centre actively contributes to the national agenda of "Skilling India," turning the aspirations of rural and semi-urban youth into tangible professional success.
