The Don Bosco Tech - Amguri centre, located in the Kokrajhar district of Assam, emerged from a mission to catalyze socio-economic transformation among the region's tribal and marginalized youth. Recognizing the need for region-specific vocational training, the centre was established to align local talent with emerging industry demands.
The centre’s curriculum is anchored in two high-demand domains: Guest Service Associate - Food & Beverage Service and Multi-Skill Technician (Electrical). The hospitality track focuses on professional service standards and customer experience, catering to the growing tourism and dining sector. Simultaneously, the electrical training provides essential technical proficiency for infrastructure maintenance. By integrating these specialized skills, the Amguri facility bridges the employability gap for local youth. It serves as a vital hub, fostering self-reliance and ensuring that trainees are prepared to enter both local and national labor markets as skilled, industry-ready professionals.
